Industrial Flour Cooling Systems
Flour rarely arrives at the temperature your process needs. After a warm silo or a hot summer delivery, it can enter the mixer well above target temperature, and that one variable shifts everything after it. Flour temperature sets dough temperature, which drives dough development, water absorption and gluten development. Warm flour means sticky dough, faster proofing, and results that change from batch to batch.
A lot of bakeries fix this at the mixer with ice or extra chilled water. That treats the symptom. Spiromatic cools the flour itself, before it reaches the mixer, so dough production starts at the same temperature every time. That puts flour temperature back under the baker's control, where the rest of the process can rely on it. And it keeps dough consistent across the line, batch after batch. How automated flour cooling works
An automated flour cooling system measures flour temperature in line and brings it to a set target before the flour is weighed and dosed into the mixer. The correction happens on the flour, not on the dough, so the starting temperature is the same every batch, summer and winter.

The choice comes down to how much you cool and how steadily. Spirocool fits high, steady volumes at the lowest total cost of ownership, cooling gently without temperature shock. Spirox fits a larger, faster drop, on/off cooling per line, or a tight footprint, injecting liquid CO2 that sublimates on contact and is set by CO2 flow. Both hold flour temperature precisely.
