You can try out and evaluate new methods and recipes in our in-house test facility. The scaling-up of newly developed processes from lab to industrial level can also be tested, including processes using sourdough. The center includes dough preparation equipment, a sifting and conveying line and a test bakery. Our bakery expert will help you finetune recipes or new products.

Evaluating mixing technologies

Our liquids installation allows customers to assess the benefits of our Idromix technology. Our claim is that Idromix improves flour hydration during the first mixing stage and speeds up the entire mixing process. We give you the opportunity to test and evaluate this promise using your own recipes. We show you how to use the machine and help you evaluate the quality of the resulting dough.

The M4E magnetic mixing technology is used to boost waffle batter and cookie dough production. They are much more efficient than high-speed stirrers or spiral mixers. If you like to see this first-hand to believe it, we can come onsite with our M4E mixers and carry out side-by-side tests.

Checking alternative flour mixes

Our solids line is a closed-loop system for a variety of tests, including the impact of introducing alternative flour mixes or powders. How about the fat content? Or the impact on the conveying? You can come over to check it all out, along with your flour-mill representatives. Or maybe you’ve developed a new sieve? Here you can plug it in to test how the resulting product behaves in the closed-loop.

Scale-up sourdough processes

A major asset of our Technology Center is our fully-equipped test bakery. If you are keen to start developing sour-dough recipes and processes to reduce costs and achieve clean label quality, then this the place to be. Maybe you’ve already developed and tested recipes on a smaller scale? Here you can produce batches of 200 liters of sourdough, see how they behave in the proofing and baking stages, and then evaluate the quality and expected shelf life of the resulting bread. The perfect last test before scaling up your production.
